Absolutely great service! Movers were friendly and efficient. Admin service was also great, when I inquired about the service they followed up with me and even at hours that worked with my schedule. I was able to book them a week/a couple of days in advance of my move. I would rehire if/when needed in the future!

ATX Firefighters Moving are very respectful and the best professional movers that we have used in Austin. They are very responsive and organized with creating a moving quote. Communication was very impressive. From start to finish, they packed up all of our belongings and efficiently transferred all of our items to our new residence. They were prompt, kind, diligent and were very helpful in placing our furniture in our new home. We would definitely use ATX Firefighters in the future.2nd Move with ATX Firefighters Moving on Saturday August 31, 2024. Andrew and Q are very hard workers. They worked efficient and fast moving all of our personal belongings into the moving truck. Andrew and Q were strategic in unloading all of our items into our new living space. It was an awesome overall experience because they got all of our items placed inside our living space carefully. Andrew and Q are the best moving crew! I used ATX Firefighter Moving recently for a small move. The price was good and they were easy to work with. On move day, there was a large item that couldn't be handled by the crew with the truck they had. They brought another truck out and were able to move the item. The movers were courteous and efficient. I would use this company again if I need to do a local move.

Tyler and Deshaun were so efficient and helpful! 100% will be going with this company for any further moves. My 1 bed - 1 bed apartment move took about 3 hours (one Austin location to another). I was quoted for about $400 for 2 hours, but the elevator delays ended up taking longer than expected. Definitely recommend

I had a great experience with Emmanuel's crew. I was moving some larger items into a storage unit that was already mostly full, and they did a great job moving things around and getting everything to fit (just barely). Even in the extreme heat they moved quickly and did a great job.

Team was great and efficient. Moved large furniture from a 3 bedroom 45 miles in about 3 hours. Guys wrapped and protected everything. Will definitely use them again.

Reasonably priced and very efficient. Moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a home and we were done in about 3 hours. Andrew and Q were quick, polite, and understanding. They took extreme care when handling our furniture and Q was able to fix a drawer of mine that has been broken for about a year!

Moving is stressful - and ATX Firefighter Moving removed my stress. Kelli talked me through the process, and personalized it and adjusted it as I gave her details.Andrew and Mr.Q called this morning and showed up ready to roll. They were extremely efficient in splitting up the work and in working together when needed. Truck loaded in under 40 mins. They were just as efficient with the offload and organizing the storage space. Andrew asked if I'd need access to some items more than others and organizing it accordingly. Great crew. 5 stars for Mr. Q and Andrew.

Nobody likes moving. Nobody likes moving in June, in Texas. And nobody likes moving from a 3rd floor apartment to a 3rd floor apartment. I cannot say enough incredible things about these guys! They made it all such a pleasant experience. From great attitudes about not so great moving conditions, to jokes with me, to getting the job done as quickly as possible and without a single thing going wrong. Everything was handled with care and I really have not a single bad thing to say. A+, 10 stars, for absolutely everything. I never want to move again but when I do, absolutely calling these guys for help.

We used ATX Firefighter moving to move two storage units and our 3 bedroom house. They were extremely efficient, thoughtful, and polite. They were actually so fast that they charged me less than the estimate, a much needed positive surprise during the moving process. Luis was delightful and helpful every step of the way. I hope I don’t have to move again soon, but if I do, they will be my first call.

I am a manager for a local U-Haul location here in Austin Texas. I have been helping this team with their truck reservations and moves for about a month now. They return the trucks in pristine condition, and most other moving companies will leave it a mess. This tells me that their passion for their business not only with their customers, but their vendors as well. That goes a long way. I have had conversations with this team and most of their team are current full time career fire fighters in the Austin area. HOW DO I KNOW IF A MOVING COMPANY IS LEGITIMATE?

According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), a growing number of complaints have been filed against movers lately – many of which are due to the “fraudulent practices… of rogue movers.” Minimize the risk of moving-day delays, damages, inflated charges, or loss of possessions by hiring legal, certified movers. Our license numbers can be found on the footer of this page.

Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?

It depends. If there are any breakable items in the drawers we recommend removing those item. If there are just clothes and soft items in the drawers there is no need.

How much should I tip my movers?

Although our movers are trained to never ask or hint for tips from customers, they are allowed to accept tips should customers feel inclined for the hard work they received. In terms of what to tip the movers, we encourage customers to tip whatever they feel is necessary for the job that was completed.
