Luis and Seth were great and hardworking. Very careful with my items and very kind young men. I'd use this company again for sure. Kelly also followed up with my calls and was very accommodating. Moving is expensive...no way around that, but I felt very secure with this company and worth every penny.

Luis and his crew were amazing. They were on the ball loading and unloading my furniture to my new upstairs apartment. Very personable and professional. They were also very respectful when moving around my little geriatric dog making sure to have eyes on her before moving that furniture near her. Luis and Kyle are very good movers. They are friendly and very strong. They came prepared with blankets and plastic wraps for my furnitures. They carefully wrapped my 55 inches TV. They dismantled my furnitures for easy moving and easily put them together in my new apartment. The move was easy and smooth. They made sure all of my furnitures and boxes are in the place where it needs to be. The staff are also friendly and very easy to communicate with. I am so happy I went with Firefighter Movers! Luis and Seth did a 10/10 job for moving a very heavy and large furniture piece that is very delicate! Would absolutely recommend them for any move of any size! Extremely nice and courteous, even added furniture pads on the legs of the piece for me as I would have been unable to lift. They were great!

We had ATX Firefighter Movers bring our household from North Austin to our new home in South Austin. Absolutely the best move I've ever experienced.Our movers were Josh and Ivan. They were outstanding! Our furniture and boxes were CAREFULLY loaded into the truck, some of it was extremely heavy, and unloaded with the same care at the new location. They were quick, without being careless and were absolutely the best at putting up with my, "put it there", "no, wait, let's try it over there" requests. :-)In the last few days I have recommended ATX Firefighters Moving to many people and told them to ask for Josh and Ivan specifically. Although I hope, like most people do, that I never have to move again, if I do have to move it will be ATX Fighters that I call.

If we could give them 100/10 we would! Daniel, Ivan and Kyle were fantastic! They were so efficient helping us move our studio apartment in Austin. They had our entire apartment loaded, moved, and unloaded in about an hour. That included a queen size bed, twin bed, the TV, plus a giant TV stand, tables, chairs, shelves, mirrors, and tons of boxes. The last time we moved, with different movers, they took about 5 hours and charged us over 609$. We will definitely be using them again.

ATX Firefighters are very respectful and the best professional movers that we have used in Austin. They are very responsive and organized with creating a moving quote. Communication was very impressive. From start to finish, they packed up all of our belongings and efficiently transferred all of our items to our new residence. They were prompt, kind, diligent and were very helpful in placing our furniture in our new home. We would definitely use ATX Firefighters in the future.

Nick and Geo moved our daughter to a new apartment in September 2023. They are very hard working, efficient and polite plus they can handle working in extreme heat. In addition the Office is available to handle questions and concerns, many other moving companies respond by text only.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY

Thank you for choosing ATX Firefighter Moving for your upcoming move. Safety is a top priority for us and in order to maintain the highest levels of safety, we have and will continue to implement new ideas and observe recommendations from agencies such as the CDC, Texas HHS, AMSA and SMA. Currently, we are not requiring our movers to wear masks during the move. This is due to the extreme physical labor moving in Texas requires. However, they will be wearing masks during the initial walk-throughs and the checkout process.

Masks Available During Walk-through and Checkout

Proper Hand-Washing is strictly observed

Adjusting Work Shifts as necessary

Trucks are cleaned and disinfected before and after every move

WHAT WE ARE DOING:

Each mover on our team has their temperature checked with a no-contact forehead thermometer before they leave each morning to ensure we are not sending anyone out with a fever.
Requiring employees that exhibit symptoms to stay at home.
Implemented work from home policies for our office staff.
New morning procedures and scheduling practices to keep teams isolated and reduce our mover’s exposure to the smallest number of people possible.
We have supplied each of our team members with cloth masks. If you are a senior citizen or have a health restriction, please let your sales rep know so we can arrange for more mask wearing during your move.
IF RAINING: if we are moving during rain or storms, we may not be able to keep our masks on as breathing becomes incredibly difficult once the masks become wet/soiled.
GLOVES: We do not wear gloves while moving. The disposable gloves do not hold up during a move and non-disposable options just provide opportunities to cross contaminate customers when moves are conducted back-to-back. We have found a consistent regimen of hand washing is the safest option.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Our movers will be wearing masks on site during initial walkthroughs and closing contracts and we ask that our customers do as well during these times.
Let us know if you are showing symptoms – As your move date approaches please let us know if you are running a fever and/or if you are suffering from flu-like symptoms. We trust that you will keep us informed either through email or by calling to let us know in advance so we can make a decision on a case-by-case basis if your move should be postponed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, don’t hesitate to give our office a call.
Practice Social Distancing – In observance of the possibilities of coronavirus spreading, we apologize in advance for not shaking hands with you. Please make sure to give our moving team space as they operate within your home or office.
Prep Home in Advance – We ask that you help prep your home or office in advance of our moving team showing up by disinfecting major surfaces, furniture items and appliances, and high traffic areas to limit as much exposure to our team as possible.
When possible, Keep Doors and Windows Open – In residential move settings when available, open (and leave open) outside doors and windows to increase air circulation before and during the move process.
